PRESENT
I’m an Interactive Art Director working at McKinney in Durham, NC
I’m someone who enjoys being part of the creative process. Over the past few years, I’ve been fortunate enough to work with an array of incredibly talented artists. And some who proved that “art” is a very subjective word.
PAST
My professional career began when I graduated with a BA in Art with a concentration in Graphic Design and a minor in communications – which gave me the ability to not only design things, but talk about them too.
I moved to Los Angeles, were I had the opportunity to expand my knowledge, expertise and network of colleagues by working on projects both as a freelance Designer and Art Director.
The first company to exploit my talents was Truestar Media where I worked on campaigns for Nike, Coke, Atlantic Records and J Records.
After several years there, I worked with Exopolis as an Art Direction for Universal Pictures, Disney, HBO, Focus Films, Warner Bros., USA Network, WB Kids, Panasonic and NASCAR.
After a short, health insurance free stint as a freelancer, I took a job at TBWA\Chiat\Day\Tequila in Los Angeles where I worked on clients like Playstation, Apple, Nissan, Infiniti, Energizer, and O’Neill.
Other interest
Please be warned that I would give up my Art Directing career should the Pro Surfing Tour ever call. In the mean time, I hope to inspire other people as much as other people have influenced and inspired me. You can check out some of my old work at raleighfelton.com
